WASHINGTON - Former US President Bill Clinton is auctioning a dinner with him to raise funds for the Clinton Foundation.

“I’m looking forward to showing the auction winner some of my favorite exhibits and enjoying dinner with them overlooking the Arkansas River,” the Politico quoted Clinton as telling People magazine.

“But more importantly, I look forward to the impact the winning bid will have on the work my foundation does around the world,” he said.

The opening bid is 25,000 dollars and the auction ends on Dec. 2.

“The president is one of most popular political figures in the world,” said eBay spokeswoman Amanda Miller.

“We anticipate that his eBay charity auction will draw bidders from around the globe,” the spokeswoman said.

The dinner for the winner and three friends will include four courses and take place at Forty Two, the restaurant located at the William J. Clinton Presidential Center.

A tour of the center is also included. (ANI)
