LONDON - A 21-year-old Muslim woman, who had bombarded a police officer with abuses under the influence of alcohol, has appeared in a London court.

Snaresbrook Crown Court was told that Yasmin Ahmed had hurled obscenities at constable Abdus Salam when he went to arrest her friend for shoplifting.

Ahmed taunted Salam with racist jibes, wiggled her backside at him and spat in his face, the Daily Express reports.

The 21-year-old has now admitted to racially aggravated harassment, assaulting a police officer and criminal damage.

She was freed on bail, and will be sentenced after assessment for alcohol treatment.

Earlier, last year, Ahmed had received a six-month suspended jail term for racially aggravated assault on a white couple. (ANI)
