LONDON - Bird protection bosses stunned a few visitors after they started a recruitment drive at a sex fair.

The RSPB put up a stall at the adult show Erotica 2010, and the charity, whose patron is the Queen, had a burlesque dancer who wore feathers, as well as some sexy helpers.

“We know that our members are a very open-minded bunch and come from all walks of life. We have been getting a lot of interest - and some are already members,” the Sun quoted spokesman Nik Shelton as saying.

The stall even had saucy slogans including “come and frolic in our wetlands” and “if you’re into birds come and join us”.

There were also T-shirts on sale - one had a picture of a Shag with the name beneath and another featured a pair of Great Tits.

“I was stunned to see them here,” one baffled onlooker at the fair in London’s Olympia added. (ANI)
