HYDERABAD - A Hyderabad court on Saturday sent Swami Asimanand, who was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for his alleged role in the 2007 Ajmer Dargah blast, to judicial custody till November 30.

The CBI arrested Asimanand, who is believed to be the mastermind of the 2007 Ajmer Dargah blast, in Uttarakhand’s Haridwar city on Friday.

It has been reported that Asimanand is a close aide of Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and Colonel Srikant Purohit, the main accused in Malegaon blasts case.

He had been absconding ever since Sadhvi Pragya Thakur was arrested for her alleged involvement in the Malegaon blast case.
