Aircel in Rajasthan Launched by Bipasha Basu

JAIPUR, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com) — Aircel GSM mobile has now reached royal state of Rajasthan. Bollywood diva Bipasha Basu has launched the Aircel service with lowest call rates and packages that also facilitates pocket internet.

The sizzling Bollywood actress was given the honor to make the first call from the newly-launched phone to Aircel chief operating officer Gurdeep Singh. Bipasha was all praise for Rajasthan, which she thinks has made enormous development in IT sector. She also seems hopeful about the state welcoming the new service.

The Aircel Chief said, Rajasthan was the last destination to experience the Aircel GSM service in its 23 districts. The investment will be Rs 500 crore in first phase, and Rs300 crore more in 2011-12.

Aircel pocket internet card will bring an lucrative offer for the customers. Aircel will provide unlimited browsing for a period of 30 days at only Rs 98.

Mr. Singh also announced the first ‘Pocketapps Store’ in collaboration with Infosys this year. This will charge Rs 7 per week for free download.

Besides, pre-paid, post-paid, inbult vas and data, international calling cards, and business pack for SMEs would be provided with new plans on competitive prices, Singh explained.
