SAN FRANCISCO (GaeaTimes.com)- This year a lot of products are being recalled from medicines to cars and the newest product to join the recall bandwagon is the Graco infant strollers. The company which is known for making strollers has issued a recall affecting some of its models made before the year 2007. The recall is being issued for reports of strangulation leading to injuries and death of the toddlers. The toddlers who may get entrapped and strangulated in the strollers may receive cuts and serious injuries if they are not strapped in the right way and left unattended by the parents. Even though only 9 injuries have been reported in USA the company has chosen to play it safe. Following the trend in USA Canada has also issued a similar recall for some models of Graco strollers.

In the USA 2 million Graco strollers are being recalled. The toddlers who are less than 1 year old may get in trouble when they are left in the strollers by parents. The older models of Quattro Tour strollers and MetroLite strollers that were made before 2007 are being affected by this recall. The company has asked the users of the affected models to get in touch with it soon. For that purpose, the users can either call up the helpline of the company or use its website. They can get a repair kit.

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission sent an order to Graco after which the company decided to recall some models of strollers. The site of the company also mentions the stroller model numbers for the convenience of the users.
