Portland Marathon 2010 To Start Today

This annual event has been recognized as one of the top ten marathon events and local road race events in United States. The marathon mostly takes place in the pleasant month of October.

Portland Marathon 2010 was first started in the year 1971. Portland Marathon 2010 will cover a course of uneven terrain. The first few miles will be on the hilly side that would lead to Waterfront Park. From the sixth mile till the 12th mile, the course will cut the north west section of the town, which is located on the plains. It will cover beautiful places like Forest Park area, St. John’s Bridge and Willamette River, in the last few miles of Portland Marathon 2010. Like every year, even this year the anticipation among the participants is skyrocketing.
