NEW DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation or IRCTC is rolling out lucrative plans for the passengers of Indian railways every month. Apart from revamping the cuisines and dishing out specialized tour packages for foreigners or people with deep pockets, the IRCTC is planning to offer unprecedented services to the railway passengers in certain big cities in the country. It has decided to offer cab services in major metro cities in India in the coming days. The good thing is that the IRCTC cab services can also be availed by the air passengers apart from the railway passengers.

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation or IRCTC is offering high end cab services in places like New Delhi, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Mangalore etc. The cabs are provided in the form of Tata Indica cars. However, those with deep pockets can afford Honda, Toyota Corolla and even Mercedes models from its offering.

The IRCTC cab service is quite flexible by nature since the passengers can hire the cars for whole day or limited hours as per their choice and requirement. It is yet to be launched in Mumbai and the IRCTC officials are sure that in the city the cab service will find many takers and the earned revenue would be high. The IRCTC wants the passengers to face no problem at all with the cab services. It wants to set up a call center. The customers will have to call the call center to book a cab, which can be done anytime. Both Ac and Non Ac cabs will be launched.
