Nissan starts parts loyalty program for repairs

FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Nissan North America said Tuesday that it is introducing a loyalty program designed to encourage repair shops to buy parts from original equipment manufacturers.

Under the program, repair and body shops accrue points when they buy parts through Infiniti or Nissan dealers. The independent shops can then redeem the points from an online catalog.

Nissan said the program will ensure that shops and Nissan owners have access to approved factory parts.
