Brooks & Dunn postpone, cancel dates over illness

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Last Rodeo will go on a little longer for Brooks & Dunn.

A news release from Sony says Ronnie Dunn’s ailing voice has forced the postponement of some dates on The Last Rodeo Tour, including their last performance together in Nashville.

Concerts will resume July 16 in Indianapolis and the final show will now be Sept. 2. Stops in Milwaukee, Wis., and Fort Loramie, Ohio, will be canceled.

A doctor recommended Dunn rest his voice for three weeks. That also scuttled the record-setting duo’s plan to perform during the Nashville Rising benefit concert Tuesday night in Nashville.
