Freddie Mac prices $5.5 billion in 3-year notes

MCLEAN, Va. — Government-owned mortgage finance company Freddie Mac on Wednesday priced $5.5 billion in three-year reference notes.

The 1.625 percent notes due on April 15, 2013 were priced at 99.86 to yield 1.671 percent.

The issue will settle on Thursday.
