KANYAKUMARI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com) — Today is January 15, 2010. This is a very very special day since the entire world is craving to have a glimpse of the longest solar eclipse of the millennium. The solar eclipse will be partially visible from Africa, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia.

I have watched the glittering ‘Ring of Fire’. Suddenly a darkness hovered the surroundings, at around 1.30 p.m. I looked through the binocular and was fortunate enough to catch the most anticipated sight of solar eclipse. Literally, I have no word to describe it. I was just overwhelmed by the sight.
